Australian Hunting Safaris

AUSTRALIAN HUNTING SAFARIS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

Included in daily fee/ package (unless otherwise stated)

Services of a personal guide and hunting vehicle.

-       Accommodation in air-conditioned motel unit.

-       Morning tea, Lunch and afternoon tea.

-       Refreshments (bottled water, soft drinks).

-       Field preparation of trophies.

-       All hunting permits.

Excluded in daily fee/ package (unless otherwise stated)

-       Any animals shot/ wounded/ killed (except stated animals in a package).

-       Extra days spent hunting over and above as bought in a package

-       Evening meals (dinner)

-       Taxidermy charges

-       Preparation and shipping of trophies

-       Telephone calls

-       Personal extras

-       Extra excursions

-       Accommodation before or after safari

-       Travelling before and after safari.

-       All air charters or road transfers, unless stated part of a package.

-       Personal Insurance (medical, travel etc:).

Deposits

Bookings on a daily basis:

-       A 25% deposit of the daily fees.  This secures a particular date, or dates and is not refundable.

-       Balance of the daily fee is payable no later than 90 days before the start of the hunt.

Booking a package:

-       A 40% deposit on a package is payable.

-       Balance of the package fee is payable no later than 90 days before the start of the hunt.

Cancellations & Refunds

If cancelled 6 months in advance, a full refund is made.

If cancelled less than 6 months, but more than 3 months before booked hunt, 75% of the deposited amount is refunded.

If cancelled less than 3 months, the whole amount is forfeited.

Postponement

A hunter can also choose to postpone his/her hunt for up to two months before the original date, in which case no deposit is lost, or he can resell the hunt to a friend.

Insurance

We are fully covered for our liabilities to the client and the public.

We also encourage hunters to take out insurance against cancellations, as well as general insurance, as hunting can be a dangerous activity.

We try to be reasonable, and if we can resell that hunt/time then we will do so for you.

All hunters will be expected to sign a waiver as part of the booking of a hunt. This will also include an indemnity against Australian Safaris, or anyone working for them.

Other fees and expenses

All trophy fees and extras will be payable at the end of the hunt.
